ORGANIZING COMMITTEE 

The TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Running Fest is a test attached to the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation organized by the Bilbao Bilborun Athletics Club, under the production of Streetmarketing Event Company. The Judges of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, the Basque Federation and Bizkaia will be responsible for compliance with the regulations.

DATE AND TIME 

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the 17th edition of the TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Running Fest will be held, the start of which for the 2 distances will be at 7:00 p.m. from the esplanade of the San Mamés stadium in Bilbao. 

IT IS RECOMMENDED TO GO IN EARLY TO THE START TO AVOID AGGLOMERATIONS AND WARM UP PROPERLY.

DISTANCES 

The Circuit is approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. 

HALF MARATHON: The distance is 21,097 km and it has a single lap. 

PIRATE RACE: The distance is 10,000 km and it has a single lap course.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 

The HALF MARATHON are open to athletes of any nationality, federated or not, and who are 18 years old on the same day of the event. 


The PIRATE RACE is open to athletes of any nationality, federated or not, and who are 16 years old on the same day as the race. Participants aged 16 and 17 must complete the parental authorization when registering online.


PARTICIPATION ON ANY ELEMENT WITH WHEELS IS PROHIBITED, AS WELL AS OTHER DISCIPLINES DIFFERENT TO ATHLETICS, SUCH AS NORDIC WALKING AND THE ACCOMPANIMENT OF PETS. 



The organization recommends that all participants undergo a Medical Examination prior to the test, accepting all participants the risk derived from the sports activity. Likewise, the athlete declares himself to be in optimal physical condition to carry out this race and does so under his/her responsibility.

REGISTRATION 

Registration for the race is personal and implies acceptance of these regulations. All participants accept each of the articles of this regulation and honestly commit not to anticipate the start and to cover the full distance before crossing the finish line.

HALF MARATHON 21K 

Until August 31st: €27.00€ 

From September 1st to 20th: €30.00€


PIRATE RACE 10K 

Until August 31st: €20.00€ 

From September 1st to 20th: €23.00€ 


REGISTRATION LIMIT 

THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS SEPTEMBER 20 OR WHEN THE BIBS ARE SOLD OUT. 


VERIFICATION OF REGISTRATION 

Once the participant registers, they will receive an email confirming their registration for the TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Running Fest with the REGISTRATION PROOF attached. 

In addition, from the "MY REGISTRATION" section of the website www.totalenergiesbilbanightrun.com, participants can check and download their registration receipt at any time. 


MODIFICATION OF REGISTRATION 

THE DEADLINE TO MODIFY THE REGISTRATION IS SEPTEMBER 20. 

Participants may modify the data, change the distance and transfer the registration to another person in the "My registration" section of the website www.totalenergiesbilbaonightrun.com 


CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION 

The cancellation or refund of the registration will not be made under any circumstances. Once the registration is formalized, the race registration fee will not be refunded for any reason, including the cancellation of the test caused by a case of force majeure, considering these as those in which the relevant authorities force the event to be suspended.

COLLECTION OF RACE NUMBERS

It will be held at the Euskalduna Palace on Friday, October 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

It is essential that each runner informs himself of the BIB NUMBER that has been assigned to him. You can consult for it the same week of the race on the official website www.totalenergiesbilbaonightrun.com. 

It will also be essential to present your Passport or identification document. If the runner cannot pick it up, ANOTHER PERSON MAY DO IT, presenting a photo of the runner's Passport or identification document in digital or printed format.

TIMING 

Timing will be done through the bib-chip system that all participants will receive when picking up their bag from the runner. There will be a small device placed on the number that must not be separated from it at any time. 

It is not necessary to return the bib-chip once the race is over. If the number is not worn on the chest, the timing of the test is not guaranteed. 



There will be checkpoints along the route at kilometers 5, 10 and 15.

START BOXES 

When registering, participants must select the starting box number that corresponds to their estimated time of arrival at the finish line. 

Participants of any of the distances who select BOX 1 and 2 must prove a time from a race held in 2023, 2024 or 2025 by indicating the details of said time on the registration form.

It is forbidden to access a box that does not correspond to the one indicated on the number. THE ORGANIZATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ELIMINATE FROM THE CLASSIFICATION ALL ATHLETES WHO COME OUT IN A DIFFERENT BOX FROM THE SELECTED BOX.

TIME LIMITS 

21k - max. 2'45h 

A maximum time of 2h and 45 min is established to complete the course of the HALF MARATHON distance. After this time, participants who have not finished the tour must leave it.



10k - max. 1'30h 

A maximum time of 1h and 30 min is established to complete the PIRATE RUN distance course. After this time, participants who have not finished the tour must leave it.

SERVICES TO THE RUNNER

Commemorative technical MIZUNO t-shirt 

Gymsac XL. 

Commemorative finisher medal for the 2 distances. 

Commemorative finisher diploma. 


WARDROBE 

There will be a cloakroom service from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. located in the Zubiarte Planta -1 Shopping Center. Each runner must deposit in the official gymsac, which is delivered together with the bib-chip, the personal belongings that they want to leave stored. In order to identify the gymsac, the participant will have to put the card with their official number that comes in the envelope with the number. ONLY OFFICIAL EVENT BAGS/GYMSACS WILL BE PICKED UP WITH THE OFFICIAL CARD. 


LOCKER ROOM

There will be a changing room for women and another for men, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. located in  Zubiarte Planta -1 Shopping Center. The participant must show his number to access this service. 


PACEMAKERS 

The organization will have hares that will mark the appropriate pace for the participants, who will be easily identified, 

as they will be marked with flags placed behind the runner who is the hare. 


HALF MARATHON 21K: 1:25h./1:30h./1:35h./1:40h./ 1.45h. /1:50h./2:00h. 


PIRATE RACE 10K: 40’/45’/50’/55’/60’ 


PROVISIONING

Following the rules established by the RFEA and World Athletics, the organization will provide participants with refreshment areas with water/isotonic drinks/gels at kilometers 6, 10, 14 and 18.


TASTING AT THE FINISH LINE 

Upon reaching the finish line, participants will receive an individual bag with water, isotonic drink and solid food provided by the sponsors.

TROPHIES 

The first three classified with official time of both sexes in the absolute category of the 2 distances will receive trophies, which will be presented on the podium. 

IT IS MANDATORY TO RECEIVE THE TROPHIES, THE PRESENCE ON THE WINNERS PODIUM AFTER THE RACE IS MANDATORY. OTHERWISE, THE ORGANIZATION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DELIVERY OF THEM. 


The classified men and women Half Marathon with Net Time of the following categories will also receive a trophy: 

  • Veterans A, between 35 and 39 years old. 
  • Veterans B, between 40 and 44 years old. 
  • Veterans C, between 45 and 49 years old. 
  • Veterans D, between 50 and 54 years old. 
  • Veterans E, between 55 and 59 years old. 
  • Veterans F, between 60 and 64 years old
  • Veterans G, over 65 years old. 



The classification will be made for both men and women, considering the year of birth. There will be a maximum period of 15 business days for the three classified in their category to contact the organization after receiving the notification of the winner of the corresponding trophy. The trophies will be sent to the qualifier's address by external courier after the race.

DISQUALIFICATIONS 

Will be grounds for disqualification: 

  • Provide false data in the registration (age, DNI, etc.). 
  • Being in the starting box that does not correspond to your number. 
  • Not complete the entire route. 
  • Do not go through the checkpoints located on the circuit. 
  • Not wearing the visible bib number or altering or hiding its advertising. 
  • Running with a number and/or chip assigned to another runner. 
  • Not heeding the instructions of the judges, organization personnel and/or Municipal Police.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL SERVICES 

The organization will have a civil liability insurance policy in accordance with current legislation. In addition, all participants will be covered by an accident insurance policy. 

The organization will have the necessary medical services to attend to the runner during the development of the same. 

The organization is not responsible for the damage that the participants may cause during the test or derive from them to third parties.

VEHICLES AND ROAD SAFETY 

Safety on public roads will be the responsibility of the Bilbao Municipal Guard and the organization itself. Medical services will be authorized to withdraw any participant for medical reasons. 

The use of motorized vehicles or bicycles that do not belong to the organization is strictly prohibited. It is not allowed to accompany the participants on bicycles, skates or other transportation vehicles.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRESENT REGULATIONS 

The organization may modify, correct or improve these regulations at any time. Registration shows the participant's conformity with these regulations. For safety reasons, the organization reserves the right to suspend, shorten, neutralize or modify the race route for safety reasons or due to force majeure.

DATA PROTECTION 

By registering for the TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Running Fest, participants give their consent to the processing of data based on the General Data Protection Regulation RGPD law that affects the entire European Union approved in 2016 and in force since May 25, 2018, so that BILBORUN and APOLO74, SL, by itself or through third parties, automatically process your personal data exclusively for sports, promotional or commercial purposes. 



According to the new General Data Protection Regulation RGPD 2018, the participant has the right to be forgotten, they may exercise the power to request the deletion of their data if they are no longer necessary or if they have appropriately withdrawn their consent. To do so, a written request must be made to the registered office of BILBORUN (c/Virgen de Begoña 47 bajo – Oficina 166 – 48006 Bilbao). 

Likewise, and in accordance with sporting interests, promotion, distribution and exploitation of the TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Marathon for the whole world (reproduction of photographs of the race, publication of qualifying lists, etc.) through any device (Internet, advertising, etc. ) and without a time limit, those registered expressly assign to the organization, BILBORUN and APOLO74, SL TOTAL ENERGIES S.E. and third parties that are involved in said organization, the right to reproduce the name and surnames, the place obtained in the general classification and that of the participant, the category, the sports brand made and his image. 

This test belongs to the official calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation and by registering, the runner expressly consents to their data being transferred to the Day License program of said Federation and the companies participating in it for their promotional campaigns. Ownership of the Day License will guarantee that the runner participates covered by civil liability and accident insurance in the event. In any case, and as established by the Data Protection Law, the interested party may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing or emailing the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.
